What is Biotechnology?

All those industrial processes are included in the science of biotechnology

In which living beings take an active part in some form or the other.

According to the European Federation of Biotechnology - Biotechnology is the biochemistry, chemical engineering,

and microbiology undertaking that enables the successful technical use of cultured cells and microorganisms.

We already know the process of fermentation by enzymes made by micro-organisms, such as making curd from milk, cheese, and vinegar from molasses.

This is just an example of biotechnology, there are other examples.
